This year we have so many gaps in the squad we are mainly targeting players with PL or at least top Euro league experience, albeit mainly at good ages. Aznou points to the future where we can mix it up a bit more.

But where are the surprises, the gems, the smart signings that Brighton and Bournemouth do?
The Cahill, the Coleman.
Don’t tell me they don’t exist.
