Don't really understand this one - he sounds like a physical box to box midfielder but surely we need someone with a lot of positional discipline and technical skills to sit?
If KDH is a 8/10 hybrid maybe Lupy is considered a 6/8 hybrid.
But I don't think he's the sort of player that can receive it in tight areas from defenders with zero chance of getting robbed or a misplaced pass. Mangala was actually pretty good at that, and we looked decent with him in the side. I thought that's why we were in for Douglas Luiz. Lupy sounds more similar in profile to Habib Diarra, maybe he's considered a better value option though. Previous Message
