From a Soton perspective, surely they'd prefer Fellows + £30m than Dibling. So this is a strong sign that we'll land Dibling.

From Fellow's perspective, if he's having another season playing regularly in the Championship it may as well be for a promotion favourite than a mid table side. So I can see him being up for the move, but a little surprised no PL team are in for him.

From our perspective though even if Dibling has a higher ceiling I was half expecting us to try for Fellows late in the window as well. Certainly if he's available for £15m or so I'd prefer him and another RW for £25m than Dibling. That seems to be our leverage with Southampton - sell us Dibling without the stupid 25% sell on and we'll let you get Fellows as a replacement.
