He certainly caught my eye in the second half of last season. He is a skilful player with mobility and the capacity to go past people, though more with trickery than speed. He had a pretty free role in the Southampton side as they were so rubbish I think they just let him get on with it. However, he is still largely unproven and in my view considerably overpriced, even for someone with prospects at that age. I wouldn't be unhappy if this didn't go anywhere and I certainly don't think we should be strung along.
