Are you attending the Roma game? Myself and Alex will be checking out all the new hostelries along "the Blue Mile" (Kopites hate us calling it that so I'm determined to popularise it!) on the way to the stadium - probably before most games for the foreseeable - so it would be great to see a few TPFers along the way now I'm back into "fan mode" Previous Message
congratulations Paul you are right! Previous Message
...how much change there has been within the club since the takeover was completed in mid-December.
There were a lot of changes to be made off the pitch as well as on it, as well as the completion of the stadium project and arrangement of the test events etc.
We absolutely won't, but even if we went into this season with the current squad we've got now, we're still in a much MUCH better place overall as a football club than we've been in literally decades, and that in itself is utterly remarkable and I think should be a solid cause for delight among Evertonians.
I know that nowadays (in the Age of Entitlement!) everyone wants instant success and gets impatient far too quickly but speaking personally, I understand and accept the difficulties involved with squad improvement, I'm very very happy with where we're at overall and I'm counting down the minutes to the Roma and Brighton games - absolutely can't wait 💙💙 Previous Message
imagine if we'd been trying to do this without the takeover having happened
if we could get 2 in this week I think we'll start to feel slightly ahead of the curve we need to be on.
1 striker, 4 midfield, 1 rb is what I think Moyes will want by the close of the window.
Maybe slightly more if we get some loans in.
losing just a little more faith every day, and credibility too apparently
