Can't see him nailing down a starting spot under this manager just yet.
Maybe if Moyes gets the willing runner at #10 he wants, that gives Alcaraz more support to be deeper, but just see him filling in on right etc this year. Previous Message
Came back a few kilos overweight. He’s a useful squad player who will get lots of minutes, not least through versatility. Whether he can nail down a regular starting role is TBD. I think his long term position is as more a true CM. You can see Moyes wanting a Soucek type in the mix to play the 8/10 hybrid role we deploy. The link to Dewsbury-Hall is interesting because he essentially plays the same position but like Alcaraz is not a physical presence. Previous Message
Haven’t seen any preseason games, but he’s been quite poor I understand.
I like him a lot. I think he’s skillful, quick and has a nasty side that I feel we’ve been missing. Kinda Cahill-vibe.
There’s not something wrong is there? It just that it’s preseason and he’d had a month off at home and been to a few parties, right.
I count on him to win us matches.
