Either:

We want 2 RWs - a sought after Champions League standard potential superstar, and also a young up and coming back up to take over in 2 years

Or:

We can’t land a top signing and therefore get someone from the Championship who actually wants to sign for us.

In both cases Fellows ticks the right box and it would be easier to sign him before we sign anyone else in his position. So why not just bring him in now??
