My mate’s nephew was his best mate in the Madrid Youth team so my mate had seen him loads.
He said we’d signed a superstar-to-be & he was absolutely gutted (the Red bastard - I laughed……) Previous Message
Listing around 18 players who hadn't made 150 appearances between them. The transfer fees are salaries were hideous.

that must have drained hundreds of millions for absolutely zero impact on the pitch. Previous Message

Finding players to buy is easy. Not buying players who will sit on the books for years and consume vast amounts of money is much harder. There’s more to the careers of Warren Buffet and Alan Howard and Alex Ferguson than turning down trades they weren’t sure of, and no-one is always right, but I’d much rather risk a place or two in the league than fill the dressing room with overpaid, sulky dross. Whilst a little disconcerting in relation to squad building, I trust the process and I have faith in Moyes delivering a competitive team.
I choose to be positive and I am quietly confident we will see decent recruitment in the coming weeks.
We know TFG have built a solid foundation which will see us in a much stronger position going forward.
The key is to make us stronger on the pitch and have a genuine threat from the bench.
Thankfully we have a solid base ěn defence and a promising new striker. We all know that we are desperate to improve the right hand side of the
team and I am sure that this is a key focus. Time will tell.
Due diligence will have been completed and a preferential list will have been drawn up. I am more worried that Tarks and Branthwaite won't be fit for the Leeds game.
TFG have stabilised the club, recruited well in key areas, and have a clear strategy to rebuild our historic club.
Yes, we are a million years away from the Top 4 and some lower teams have recruited well, however other mid table teams have lost key players (Brentford, Brighton etc).
Our transition will take several windows to be truly competitive. For now, enjoy the ride.
losing just a little more faith every day, and credibility too apparently
