our stadium is a statement of intent and considering we are shopping in the same shop as most teams outside the big 6 .... then it certainly puts us in a better light than most grounds.

Yes money matters.... but the younger players we want to attract are also looking at facilities the club offers and having a shiny new stadium is a huge advantage over the old Goodison IMO.

The older type of player we used to get probably didn't give a shit as long as the money was good.
