The universe is in a constant state of expansion then contraction. Everything that is contained in our universe has always been there and nothing has been added or lost. At some point the universe will stop expanding and begin to contract until it becomes a singularity again. Then big bang and it starts all over again, with the same mass and energy as all the previous times. So essentially everything that existed previously will exist again and everything that has happened will happen again. Life is but a loop

the bits that make up every atom in our bodies have esisted for 14 billion years so, and will continue to exist for countless billions of years after they stop being temporarily arranged as us.
