The People's Forum: Absolutely! The commentators or the TV company became obsessed with US commentaries. I long for the

days of Kenneth Wolstenholme and David Coleman et al who sometimes went quite a few seconds in silence. Apart from them the best commentator for me was a Scotsman on ESPN named Derek Rae, He was brilliant. Of course it's not the commentator who ruins it but the so called celebrity colour man, usually an ex-footballer.

I have sight issues and often use AD, but notforsport. This commmentary wholly replaced the official multi-drivel and it was great. Remember when commentators just told you who had the ball? This was it - really enjoyable.

watching that link whilst still being able to hear the crowd/game noise was great.

Some channels give an option to not listen to the commentators and I'd love that to be available on all games across all channels in the future.

Far, far better than the club one for the simple reason it didn't have Darren Griffiths and Ian Snodin droning on all game.
