6 to replace the players that had significant playing time last year, and have now left.

So replacements for Doucoure, Young, DCL, Harrison, Mangala, Lindstrom.

So we need a CF. 2x wingers 2x midfielders and a fullback.

Weve got Barry and Alcaraz. So we need 4 more.

I think we'll spend money on 1, loan 2 and get a free transfer.

Four might just about do it, starters for RB, CM and RW and competition/starter for LB.

Then we would have

CB: Branthwaite, Tarkowski, O'Brien, Keane
LB: Y, Mykolenko
CM: Z, Gana, Garner, Alcaraz, Iroegbunam, Armstrong (probably will go out on loan)
RW: Q, McNeil/Ndiaye
LW: Ndiaye, McNeil
CF: Barry, Beto, Chermiti

Wings would still be a bit light but apart from that not a complete disaster.
