Until 1988, I was interested in most sports (not the American, though), and then quite abruptly I lost all interest towards all sports except Everton, and later the footy of my own family members, which I still follow. And Everton of course which I follow during the close seasons, because it’s not about sport or football, but a hunch in my back.
There’s no money in the world that would buy me to watch things like baseball, American rugby, boxing (yuck!), ice hockey (the unaestethic version of street fight) or the Olympics - no way.

In fact I don’t know why it came to this. Perhaps other things just took over. Family, my own art, good food, wine & single malt, sex, literature and fine arts, all those things that really bring enjoyment in life. Who would even need sports to spoil that?
