Love of Aussie Rules because I mixed with loads of Aussies when I was at Imperial in the 80s (Earls Court, Fulham and West Brompton was overrun with them and Kiwis). I have watched more AFL games this season than I watched PL games last season. Mind you my taste in teams is equally painful as I follow Carlton who last won something in 1995…sound familiar?!

all the great comments on the test match reminded me how far down the list of my favourite sports the PL is. Test cricket is definitely top of the list but I'd also prefer watching rugby L and U, golf, MLB, NFL, mens and womens US college basketball, the NHL and the last few years of my life in the US, Nascar. Everton have me hooked on football unfortunately.
