However, we go to Aegina Island, just an hour away from the port, for about a month every year. My mother in law has a good sized summer house there, and the island is really special. Lovely sea, cool breeze, reasonable prices, not too many tourists - a hidden treasure - hiking, sailing, and loads of history. For some reason it isn't well known, but it ought to be.
