I am watching sport though mainly to witness a high level of technical skill. There are other attributes of course, like resilience, tenacity, humility, humour etc. Yeah, it makes it a bit more interesting maybe, but that shouldn't be the main thing if you are actually interested in the sport rather than seeing it as just another form of entertainment.
