Cups not as important...money is in the league...FFS

I honestly couldn't give a flying one about money from league placings (not to mention, likely somewhat irrelevant given the impact of BMD on PSR, relative diff in prize money between league placings, and so on).

But what is football, if not a competition?
The winning of a trophy would transform the profile of this club, heaven forbid it might even start to breed a positive, winning mentality among the fanbase.

We should exist to win things. Win a match, win a cup, win a flipping corner, I don't care, I just want us winning.

The single best pathway to trophies for this club is the league cup. I genuinely don't understand why we aren't going for it, hell for leather, every single season.

"Oh it might tire players out for that crucial upcoming league game against Bournemouth".
