and his policymaking more extreme but this is what they voted for - getting tough with immigrants, stopping the US being "taken advantage of" with tariffs and so on. Don't see that they've been "sold out" any more than they were the first time, if some have finally learned the lesson that it's a bad idea to trust a career con man with dementia on top of an extreme personality disorder then they hardly deserve credit for being quick to catch on.
