We have 16 players now. Mourinho once said you need maybe 22 players in the senior squad to get through a season - and we don't have European games.

I'd imagine we'll get 3/4 loans in before season starts + Barry hopefully.

I think the better frame is we have an opportunity right now to shape the squad for the next three years and move away from just buying whatever we can get for bugger all/favourable terms.
