and it is a bit of the tour where you realise how dated Goodison became. Home & away are Cramped and right next to each other. Other than that there’s not a lot to talk about the changing rooms as changing rooms themselves. However it was the bit I was most interested in before I went and my family were surprised about the difference between the two changing rooms. Whilst there’s nothing special at all about the rooms I was glad I saw them and gained a bit of sense about the players and mangers who have used them.
It depends on circumstances and if you can delay to get the full experience you won’t ever be left wondering. Previous Message
But the sense of history in there with all of our past idols celebrating or commiserating. I’d just love to have visited that space in person. Previous Message
Imagine a school gym changing room if the school was brand new in 1970 and nothing had been done since.
There, that's the Goodison dressing room experience.
Probably still worth the tour. Previous Message
I was about to book the tour for me and the family, but there is a disclaimer that the home and away changing rooms are unavailable due to refurbishment. Probably modifying for the ladies.
Seems to me that this part of the tour is what it is all about. For those that have been, would it be worth going if you can’t go in the changing rooms?
