I think like Gareth Barry he's improved with age.The partnership he had with Gomes worked a treat and we played some decent football.
The last 3 months starting with Cardiff away he was a totally different player absolutely superb when he could have downed tools with us not letting him go to PSG in Jan.

The major reason Silva was sacked was because we didn't adequately replace Gueye 1st time round - we only finally replaced him once we resigned him

He was very underrated at Everton during his 1st spell
