compare any oasis rip off numbers to Blurs the universal or pulps common people.
they flounder. but they through pseudo bad lad and lads magazine bullshit got an audience of disaffected middle class kids who desperately wanted to be part of something but in a really risk free way.

they were alright, wouldn't be in my top 10 gigs I have ever been to. Liam is a decent singer but a bit of a knob. Noel is a decent guitarist and songwriter but pretty unoriginal. Media suggest it was a triumph for the brothers, they grabbed a s*** load of money, but also delivered the goods.
Crazy how a band with just about two decent albums can gather so many people. Nostalgia is big in times like this, I guess.
