Yes there were tits throwing plastic glasses of whatever - water, £8 a pint booze or something else and like anywhere you go nowadays coke everywhere. Remember watching Tony Bellew fight Nathan Cleverly at the Echo Arena years ago (some card that was Joshua, De Gale, Quigg, Smith, and more who went on to World belts) and coke was everywhere there and was openly offered some in my seat. It’s the norm now and has been for years.
Friday night was very good but when it ended I felt ‘yeah that will do’ and wasn’t wishing for a longer set.
It was on the back of seeing Duran Duran in Exeter in Thursday and surprisingly they were also very good as were Chic before them.
A right musical mix the last couple of days! Previous Message
Media suggest it was a triumph for the brothers, they grabbed a s*** load of money, but also delivered the goods.
Crazy how a band with just about two decent albums can gather so many people. Nostalgia is big in times like this, I guess.
