it's essentially wasting half a working day, every day. Unless it's on the train and you can use it productively.
I haven't had a commute as such for years and when I did, it was in the order of 15 minutes. Suppose it depends on the job, circumstances etc.

I am currently looking for work and am basing my choice of job on the basis of a two hour commute, to and from, work each day using public transport.
Do others feel this is acceptable?
So, this happened. But it is what it is, until it isn't.
