Not a popular decision but I agree..we are not turning into a champions league chasing team overnight ..baby steps etc..and we will need players who can cover a few positions are happy to be a squad filler and give everything when called upon.
I remember an analyses on JH on one game where they were enthusiastic about how he maintains the team shape and helps our his FB immensely.
Yes his limited but can cover 3 positions with rw probably being his most ineffective from an attacking perspective.
Moyes likes and trusts him as mentioned before good option in the tough aways or seeing a lead out.
With the caveat being he has minimal psr impact
