I obviously don't know the details of the case, but what I would say that - in general - just because a person wasn't charged and/or convicted that doesn't mean that their conduct wasn't worthy of dismissal from their job - that might well have been the case with this player but we'll never know. Hm, but he wasn’t a convicted person when he played and he still isn’t.
I feel we let ourselves and Siggy down back then. It ruined his career. So maybe this is the right way - not acting as the legal system yourself. Dunno.
