With it being so hot in Denver lately, I haven't been going out as much as I should so instead I finished watching the following :
Silo season 2 - I loved the first season but the second one was a drage. Twice as long as it needed to be, and it all seemed a setup for season 3, which I'm hoping is at least as good as season one otherwise, I'm giving it up.
Severance season 2 - After Adolescence, Severance is the best show of the year, great story, even almost believable, characters you like and care about, even the villain. And an episode 3 twist that made my head turn. It still reminds me of The Prisoner TV show from the 60s. My only concern is if the writers have no clue how the show ends, are making it up as they go along, as some have suggested. If I think about it too much, my head hurts.
Dark Matter - Now this show makes my head hurt. Really enjoyed it, but requires a lot of concentration, which I'm not sure I have anymore, sadly. It seems there will be a second season, which I'm not sure is necessary, but an interesting show nonetheless.
Apple Tv is such a strange channel, they come out with new shows every week, most are barely mediocre and I have no clue who they are for or who watches them. Their whole sales pitch is based around Ted Lasso, Slow Horses and Severance and then they seem to hope people will be bothered to watch something else.
For light relief I've also watch the new DareDevil show on Disney. Great stuff, its all about that Kingpin guy who remains the best villian in the MCU.Then again some of my friends said they didnt like it as it became more "disneyfied". Whatever Jessica Jones is back for season 2 and I can watch Kristen Ritter for the rest of my life.
This went on longer than I thought. What is everyone else watching this summer?
