I went off backpacking around the world that year and those three albums were in heavy rotation on my walkman. Happy days! Previous Message
hearing Firestarter without Keith Flint jumping around the stage was strange, and poignant.
Followed their output since the days of "Charly" and "Everybody in the place" - first album suggested they were going firmly in the direction of the emerging jungle sound that was establishing itself as a sub-genre of the hardcore/rave movement. An element of that remained but they sort of carved out a niche of their own.
There isn't really another act like them around, with that fusion of techno, rock and breakbeat. Have seen them live at an indoor arena but probably works much better at an outdoor festival. Previous Message
I may just stay awake until the end of their set!
