if we'd signed a young forward for 35mil and a right winger for another 30mil and brought in another midfielder, then Walker signing would be met with either positivity or the odd shrug
if however he is the first signing of the summer (ok Alcaraz but dont get fussy) then the response is going to be at best a shrug of the shoulders and mostly a case of wtf...
The problem is we've had almost 2 decades of 'wait and see how things look when the window closes' and in the majority of those 20 years, things have looked shit
I think he is past it, I genuinely dont think he is better than Ashley Young, but lets see if he does arrive and who else
