BMD is an absolute game changer for us financially and the club/TFG are planning to "sweat the asset" as much as possible, so don't just think about the football income (which is already sizeable with all season tickets sold out, including all the Premium seats with a 3-year commitment) but also events like the rugby, the Euros and revenue streams like top notch restaurants with spectacular views out to the Mersey operating on non-matchdays.

I think that any spending restrictions we have now are due to PSR/debt, but the stadium will go a long way to alleviating them - you can't just walk away from 30/35 years of financial mismanagement without a bit of pain, but TFG seem to be on the right track to get us there from everything I've seen and heard, so let's see how it goes.
