...we're not first choice for many players, so we don't have the luxury of showing interest in a player and being able to necessarily immediately sign them. They'll wait and consider their options. Or clubs will wait on selling players they're undecided about until later in the window when their own business has concluded.

would like to have some of business done before pre-season starts. If not, so be it. As long as the first team and squad is stronger before the window slams shut, that's all we want.

...unlike us fans, they have far more knowledge of all of the factors involved in signing players and they do have a plan. Our new CEO has said that the primary aim of everything they do will be focused on making us successful on the pitch. It won't be overnight, but I'd highly recommend just leaving them to it and not stressing out about it. Previous Message

New players coming in late. A poor start to the season, a decent stretch along the way to reach safety.
Would be nice to come out roaring and ready.
