Games are too fast & to o demanding for virtually anyone to play every game unless 90% fit.
To win stuff you need to be bringing on players at 70mins who are internationals
Otherwise the “good XI” need to have the game sown up by 60mins & take their foot off the gas Previous Message
Pickford
O’Brien - Tarkowski - Branthwaite - Mykolenko
Gana - Garner
NEW RM - Ndiaye / Alcaraz - McNeil / Ndiaye
NEW CF / Beto
With just one or two additions (plus coaching / management) you’ve got the makings of a top ten team there.
It’s the rest of the squad that’s worrying. Two or three injuries and we’re goosed. Lack of Europe is actually helpful, in that respect.
As it stands, we need a backup keeper, centre back, right and left back, central midfielder, attacking width…the list stacks up quickly.

I think we'll end up with a reasonable XI, but a lack of a squad. Then depending on injuries etc, I've no idea where we'll finish?
Progress is all I want. More consistent watchable football. The hope that qualification for Europe, or a trip to Wembley is within sights. No fear of relegation.
Still expecting poor periods. 50+ points may not get much more than mid table but it's a step in the right direction
losing just a little more faith every day, and credibility too apparently
