...I don't know what it is - I saw someone asking a similar question of the Fans Forum and they said that there is a limit but recommended contacting the club directly to ind out what that is. Previous Message
could add each other to their network? Previous Message
Thanks for all that - saved me from posting most of it
I've been told (not directly by the club but from someone who was told this by the club) that there should be nearly twice as many tickets for each match than there were at Goodison so that should increase the chances of getting one, and as you say, the Resale will still be available.
It's also worth noting that - as we head towards "all digital" - the vast majority of Season Ticket Holders who can't go to a match and want to pass their ticket to someone to use, now won't have a physical card to do that so it will need to be done online via their "Friends and Family" list (or their "network" as it's now known) and last summer the club changed their rules so that you can only transfer your ST to someone who has paid for Official Membership. Just something for people to be aware of. Previous Message
There were quite a few for the early part of the season and were much easier to get.
As the end of Goodison got closer these became more and more sparse. Post New Year I was able to get Bournemouth, Arsenal and Ipswich Tickets via the membership route so it was possible, albeit frustrating at times.
Make a note of the on sale dates and times and like you would for a gig, be in the queue when they go on sale - also be prepared that if you didnt get one in the first sale that there were many then put up for resell so its worth checking. I got my Ipswich ticket thanks to someone putting up for resale about 3 days after it had sold out and was lucky enough to be checking when it went online, getting lucky with the timing for these was key!
With the increased capacity and increase in season ticket holders there will be an increase in tickets available on a match by match basis and there will be an increase in people reselling their season tickets on a game by game basis as well.
So it should get easier with the increase in capacity, there wont be a bad view in the new ground so just grabbing any ticket as quick as you can will be fine, where as a lot of tickets that went on sale at Goodison would have been restricted or severely restricted views and may have put a number of people off trying to purchase.
I guess the key point is, dont wait for an email, know the sale dates and be ready to log on and grab one and you'll probably have the opportunity to get to a fair few at least.

tickets available for all home games? I got one for the Bournemouth cup game last season but I got a notification for that, never for a league game.
