The idea of being able to rotate him, Ndiaye, McNeil and Alcaraz across two thirds of our attacking midfielders is amazing. All can cover on the right, as well, but we’d still need to bring in a first choice player there.

But add Grealish and a right sided midfielder and that’s a top ten team without doing anything else. The squad depth is the issue, as we’d still need:

Right back
Left back
Centre back (if Keane leaves)
Centre mid
Centre forward (personally, I’d still prefer an upgrade to Beto with him dropping to the bench, but hard to argue with his finishing)

But the first eleven itself? Easily top ten.
