As a player he was a one good game in five or six merchant. For what is still our record signing that is totally unacceptable.

Has everyone forgotten the game against Liverpool's (more or less) reserve team where he, as a central midfield player, went for 25 minutes without touching the ball?

There were many other games where he was completely anonymous. I know he scored a few wonder goals for us, and he didn't set the fee, but let's not rewrite history.
