Was that he met a girl who he thought was 20. They swapped numbers and started texting each other. Gylfi's wife was either pregnant or had just had the baby while this was happening.
The girl in question started bragging about it, her parents found out and they tried to extort Gylfi. Turns out the girl was only 15. But as far as i know nothing happened between Gylfi and the girl, hence charges dropped.

Got his career ruined because - correct me if I'm wrong - somebody falsely accused him of sexual misconduct against a minor.
With that in mind I have a hard time blaming him for anything. I think he was a decent player for us. Expensive, but quite ok.
