My biggest concern with Moyes is he prioritises optimising his two season window trying to finish eg 10th rather than 13th and maybe having a cup run. OK, that might be nice but it is not paradigm shifting. We should be building the foundations of a younger squad that can be grown across an 3-5 season window improving both our football and financial stability. If we can hold on to Branthwaite and do well in the markets this summer, there’s plenty of room for league table improvement as others go backwards.
