Also, I love the irony of Kopites attempting to wind us up over support from Wales. It's not as if they don't have one or 2 out of towners, is it? I wouldn't wonder that most north Wales Evertonians are probably 3rd/4th generation and let's be honest a huge percentage of local Reds's support doesn't go back much more than the 60's or 70's.
Finally, every survey confirms we have far more match going locals than they do (even though they have a far bigger stadium). We are soon to increase our capacity by 25% and most of the seats will be taken by local fans, making the gap even bigger.
I couldn't care less how many so called "supporters" they have, most of them couldn't find Anfield with an A-Z.

First time really back in 30 years - I've been back many times, last time for the game a few months back, but this time did the full tourist thing and really went around town and the city centre and really spent time looking around rather than just going to the game or going to my mums house etc..
I know it was the parade on Monday, we arrived on Tuesday, but is it really so much in favour of LFC rather than EFC now across the city? The LFC store was rammed on Wednesday and the EFC store in Liverpool one was basically empty and small in comparison. We had 6 taxi drivers over a few days, they all supported LFC, made jokes about Everton being based in Wales etc. Hardly saw anyone in an EFC top, no flags flying etc. Honestly, it seemed like a one club city. Loads of houses decked out in flags on Queens Drive (etc) but probably due to the bus.
I don't remember it being like that when I was a teenager but looking it up on google it seems the best estimate it 2/3 of everyone in Liverpool who support a club support Liverpool. Was it always like this, has it changed due to success or immigration or whatever? Like, is it only 33% of people in Liverpool now support Everton?
Loved the visit, what they have done around the docs is something else, what a city! Amazing place. Titanic hotel was really good, the rooms were genuinely awesome and massive. Shout out to the quirky corner near chinatown, well worth an hour!
Cheers
