To be fair he’s said his main concern is getting in the World Cup squad. He’ll need to score goals for that to happen and he’s more likely to score more for Chelsea than he is for us. Plus Chelsea would financially blow us out of the water

It would be an interesting signing but it's still risky. Chelsea will give champions league, playing with some higher profile players and probably a bigger salary. I would join Chelsea in his shoes.
If Delap joins us we will be behind him, but if he does not, not really arsed.
