Steidten joined West Ham in 2023. and he splurged over £250 million. The sale of Rice covered a lot of that. But apparently that's what pissed Moyes off. As soon as the hammers had loads of cash to spend, it was someone else spending it

I think we will sign him.
But i don't think we'll sort it out soon. I wonder if Moyes is trying to decide whether to spend that £12 million on Alcaraz or Soucek.
If Alcaraz had been a Moyes signing, it would've been done by now.
I think if Doucoure had accepted the contract we offered him, Alcaraz would be gone. And Moyes would be all in on Soucek.
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time.
