Seems we have an unprecedented opportunity to rebuild given all the contract expirations and FFP becoming more manageable. I hope we aren't just handing the keys to Moyes and letting him build a squad of "Moyes players"
One of the biggest complaints about the last 10 years has been having a load of players on long contracts that suited prior managers but didn't fit any more.
In his previous spell under Kenwright, felt like Moyes had the job for as long as he wanted it even if we had a bad run of form, but I doubt the Friedkins have the same level of commitment to him so what happens if he goes ?
Or are the club now all in on Moyes for the long term ? Previous Message
I think we will sign him.
But i don't think we'll sort it out soon. I wonder if Moyes is trying to decide whether to spend that £12 million on Alcaraz or Soucek.
If Alcaraz had been a Moyes signing, it would've been done by now.
I think if Doucoure had accepted the contract we offered him, Alcaraz would be gone. And Moyes would be all in on Soucek.
