I think/hope that the club want Charly to stay and are simply in the process of negotiating personal terms and possibly the fee (since I don't think the obligation to buy was triggered). I'd take Soucek as a similar profile player to Doucs - he'd bring experience and a few goals.

If Alcaraz had been a Moyes signing, it would've been done by now.

I think if Doucoure had accepted the contract we offered him, Alcaraz would be gone. And Moyes would be all in on Soucek.
