Similar to our relegation woes, it's sometimes easy to forget how fortunate we were to somehow tiptoe our way through a minefield blindfolded and make it to the other side!
As was said below, I'm still staggered that we are in the position that we're now in - going into a brand new stadium with new owners that have reorganised our debt to be manageable and (so far) seem to have their heads screwed on, and are making some positive changes and recruiting some impressive people... long may it continue 💙

In fact I came out of my hibernation for one game the second season in a row. Last season it was because my lovely, crazy family hijacked me to Goodison, and this time it was to watch the Grand Old Lady Farewell Party. How could I have let that go without watching?
