In fact I came out of my hibernation for one game the second season in a row. Last season it was because my lovely, crazy family hijacked me to Goodison, and this time it was to watch the Grand Old Lady Farewell Party. How could I have let that go without watching?

I see Moyes has been reappointed, and for once we weren’t facing the 2nd division on the last day of the season. Obviously the team is breaking up, but what will follow? Will Friedkin pay for a proper rebuilding of the side?
