High wage bill, high amortisation costs, underperformance, players unable to be sold because they will never earn as much as they do now. Plus they don’t have a stadium to fund or move into to make it all worthwhile.

… but it’s never a good sign that any business gets rid of staff on large scale.
Think the financial mess is far bigger than is being reported.
