Any other old arses remember the letters running on both sides of the field - ABC etc representing other games. You needed to buy a program to see which letter represented which game. HT scores would be posted. Later on "techie" fans with transistor radios would have a one up on everybody in advance of the postings
Also the 2 men who walked around the field at HT carrying an advertising board usually for wrestling matches at the Stadium. One little chap was called "Joe" and all the kids would shout a greeting to him (probably wasn't his name)
