... that the quality of the show still stacks up better than pretty much everything that I recall from that era. In fact, I can't think of any other comedy show from the 80s that has stood the test of time better than Cheers. I was addicted to cheers growing up, used to video it every friday and watch it 3 or 4 times during the week before the next episode.
