And Moyes himself has said many times he prefers to work with a smaller squad. Quality over quantity has to be our mantra
Weird to hear Pep say that unless the city squad size is reduced he will consider quitting city

Maybe four good starters.
Four decent fillers.
Four loans.
Is do-able, but again, sub-optimal. Previous Message
We've had far too many of them for too long.
I'd like to think that at least 4 or 5 of the current first team become squad players, as we focus on upgrading the first team.
If we're looking to just add numbers, use loans
Given the position we're now in financially and with PSR, i hope we don't undo all that by giving 4 or 5 year contracts to lads we'll be booing in a few months

We've not had anyone who can carry the ball infield since Barkley. He's also an eye for a pass, which will hopefully show even more once there's a few more footballers in the team.
It's just nice with him & Ndiaye to see a bit of skill, we've become far too accustomed to grafters.
But, I'll also not complain if Longstaff comes in as well, as there's a shitload of squad places need filling. Previous Message
I think our fanbase really over rates some players.
If we lose both Gana Gueye and Doucoure then that is a huge concern for me.
I am banking on Moyes realising the level of depth and quality he’s going to need to make sure next season is as calm as possible.
Right now, with a huge amount of playing squad change expected in addition to moving to a new stadium and getting settled, I would bite your hand off to have the 45 points we have now this time next year. Previous Message

They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time.
