I can't think of many traditional holding midfielders out there. teams like Liverpool and Arsenal are struggling to find them.
Whoever we get for midfield is going to have to have legs as i expect we wont be seeing much of the ball again next season. And with a focus on crosses those mids are going to have protect our box and attack the oppositions. Which is what Doucoure did. Welcome Tomas (Slowest player in the premier league) Soucek

I think our fanbase really over rates some players.
If we lose both Gana Gueye and Doucoure then that is a huge concern for me.
I am banking on Moyes realising the level of depth and quality he’s going to need to make sure next season is as calm as possible.
