But tolerating a system where people can be cruel and abusive and bullying with no cost to themselves, while making money for Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, is itself not without costs. ...but same with all of these stories about online abuse, there isnt anything that can be done really. The only way it stops is if there stops being knobheads in the population, and that doesnt sem likely. I suppose you could try and remove all anonymity from the internet, but that comes with its own probelms.
Again I dont think they should have to accept it, that sounds like such a shit thing to say to people getting abuse.....but...you sort of do have to accept it, you dont have to have an online prescence but when you do, you open yourself up to the world, and the world is full of dickheads.
